How can I set my Blackberry Curve so that when I send an email it doesn’t make my phone ring?

Whenever I send an email (from the Curve or my computer) the sent email pops up on my phone as a new message. Is there any way to turn this off?

Blackberry 7230 mobile cell phone and i wanna send emails and from it. im on a vodafone cap the $19 dollar one and does anyone know how much it will cost? (per email)

What is the best Blackberry on the market?

The Blackberry Storm is supposed to suck, so I thought about buying the Blackberry 8820, but is it the best you can get? I would mostly use the Blackberry for emailing and web surfing, but sometimes also for calling or texting people. I want the Blackberry to take good pictures and it should have a mp3 player.
